Matthew will be performing regularly during 2021 in The Garage, an online music series featuring the musical talent of Chicago’s American Blues Theater Ensemble Members and Artistic Affiliates. Following every concert, stay in the virtual space to meet the artists. The Garage will run via Zoom monthly for the duration of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Next up in The Garage on February 12 is VALENTUNES, songs from American Blues artists about first love or heartbreak: a little romantic, a little vengeful, and a whole lotta laughs.
Brumlow will play the lead in this new slow burn thriller feature film by award winning Passenger Productions and From Here Pictures.

RECENT
MISSISSIPPI DELTA TENNESSEE WILLIAMS FESTIVAL
Having co-directed site specific productions of The Glass Menagerie and Orpheus Descending (as well as playing “Tom” and “Val”) in 2015 and 2018, Matthew returned as a Guest Artist to Clarksdale’s 2020 Tennessee Williams Festival.
Brumlow directed Summer and Smoke for the virtual festival and also performed in “The Music of Tennessee Williams” which celebrated gospel, traditional, jazz and blues numbers featured in Tennessee’s most famous plays with Clarksdale roots.
